'We Get That A Lot' is an album comprised of all original music by the band Bad News. Each member of the collective brought an original composition in to record on this album. Funding for all recording/mixing/mastering costs were generously provided through a grant given by the Intercollegiate Academics Fund at the University of Northern Iowa. The eclectic tastes and musical experiences of the ensemble are highlighted in the various characters and settings explored in each unique composition. Listeners can expect to hear inspiration from performers like Chris Potter, Marbin, Nate Smith, John Scofield, Pat Metheny, Wayne Shorter, and many more.
